Some of our aims as a group are to conduct a clinical trial into psychedelic-assisted therapy for addiction, to research the historical use of psychedelic plants in Scotland, and to conduct research in individuals already planning on taking psychedelics (such as in a legal retreat setting abroad).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The group runs a range of events around broader themes in Psychedelic Research which seek to bring a diverse community together. &nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Scottish Psychedelic Research Group was established in 2021 at the University of Edinburgh, within the School of Health in Social Science. &nbsp; We create a network for people from a range of professional and academic backgrounds.
